Blessing is set to open tomorrow, February 8th, bringing assorted Asian-inspired tapas to the neighborhood around the Montrose Ave L station.

The storefront was renovated several years ago, and for a few months was a venue for hire hosting private parties. That venture closed down soon after opening. Next door is a wholesale bakery.

The new restaurant promises sushi, dim sum, Asian tapas, and more.

The store is located on Humboldt Street between Scholes and Meserole Street, three blocks from the Montrose Ave station.

The new shop promises vegan options too. The neighborhood enjoys numerous vegan restaurants already with Champs Diner around the corner and Dunwell Donuts on Montrose Ave.

The umbrellas suggest the restaurant plans to have outdoor dining. So far there has not been any outdoor structure built on the street.
