Construction on 21 Meserole Street has seen the building quickly rise.

The new building fills in the block where a garage, parking lot, and former lumber store once stood. Meserole Lumber had been located at 20 Meserole Street.

The new building will have 24 rental units along with 14 off-street parking spaces. The section of Meserole Street has seen a number of mid-rise buildings erected in recent years, although older businesses like an auto body shop that operates on the sidewalk still exist there as well.

The nearest subway is the G train at Broadway, although it isn’t far from the JMZ or the L at Lorimer-Metropolitan.
