The Brooklyn Harvest Grocery Store on Metropolitan Avenue has become a FoodTown.

Not much has changed inside. For those in the know, the customer loyalty cards for FoodTown of Williamsburg and Brooklyn Harvest on Union Avenue were interchangeable.

Both markets have a large beer selection, sell the same pre-packaged bulk items, and carry the same brand names.

Changes at both stores have been happening in recent years. Both stores stopped carrying Boar’s Head Products, instead preferring the discount brand Dietz & Watson brand.

Brooklyn Harvest opened in the base of the building at 781 Metropolitan Avenue as the first and only retail tenant, directly across the street from the existing C-Town market.
