Ben’s Bagels is no more. In it’s place is a Valparaiso Eterno, a new shop featuring a selection of authentic Chilean foods.

Not much was done to the interior of the formal bagel counter, but some additional furniture has been added.

The listed web address points to another eatery, La Roja de Todos, based in Queens.

Ben’s Bagels were above average, particularly given their proximity to Woodhull Hospital. On a personal note, I had quite a few bagels from Ben’s the week my child was born.
