Diamond Slice Shop Brings Upscale Slices to Nassau Ave

The new, upscale slice shop opened on Diamond Street and Nassau Ave bringing fancy slices to Greenpoint.
Just a few blocks down from the city’s hottest new pizzeria, Chrissy’s Pizza, this slice shop brings vintage vibes to the neighborhood with big booths and red checked tile flooring.
The interior can feel sparse at times with tables set against the walls. But the restaurant feels warm and cozy, like a neighborhood institution, even if it still has that new car smell.

But the shop can fill up quickly. There was a steady flow of customers coming in, and several pies were sold out.

Peter Chrostowski started the slice shop as a pop-up, and he told Greenpointers that he saw the ‘for lease’ sign last summer, replacing the old Park Deli.

The thin crust is crispy. There’s a mix of typical New York flavors like a white pie, Buffalo chicken, and of course Mike’s Hot Honey was available for squirts.
I’d discuss the regular slice, but my toddler wouldn’t let me have a bite. He did insist on removing the basil.

The Supreme slice had good flavor.
The pizzeria opened last month.
