Fire-ravaged City Chemist appears to be reopening a few doors down on Metropolitan Avenue.

Signs for City Chemist showed up on the windows of 710 Metropolitan Avenue, the Umbrella Factory loft conversion. Several retailers have announced their leases over the last year, but remain under construction.

A four-alarm fire at 335 Graham Avenue back in January destroyed several buildings, including neighborhood pharmacy, City Chemist.

The fire began in the top floor of the City Chemist building, which has since been demolished. One staircase at leading to the Graham Avenue L station remains closed.
