Mommy’s Replaces Bas’ik

Mommy's bar in Brooklyn

The Graham Avenue bar Bā’sik quietly closed in November, then reopened.

It seemed at first that the bar would continue as it was, but then the new project was announced in December on Instagram

Mommy’s opened a earlier this month, serving up cocktails. The name is an homage to the owners’ mothers. Its a bit weird though, since its just a block away from Mother’s Burgers. (Daddy’s, further down on Graham, closed in 2016).

There was a kitchen renovation, and the new spot will also serve brunch.
