The corner retail in a newer apartment building on Bushwick Avenue and Johnson Ave is set to become a suite of independent salon spaces.

Sola Salon offers independent salon spaces for hair, nails, and massage professionals. An existing space in the Mill Building on the Northside of Williamsburg has 33 units. The new location is currently looking to fill the space with tenants.

The salons would be the first tenant in the ground floor retail at 222 Johnson Avenue, a 363-unit building that opened in 2020. There is also a parking garage in the building.

The salon space would occupy the corner space overlooking Bushwick Avenue, with a door on Johnson. It does not appear that the salon will occupy the full retail space, although with the brown paper on the windows its always a hard to know for sure.

The building is a block from the Montrose L train.
