The famed Kellogg’s Diner has reopened.

Eater had a big profile highlighting the menu changes, along with a beautiful photo spread.

The long-standing staple of Williamsburg’s late night cocaine and bathroom sex scene closed in 2023 after facing bankruptcy.

The diner had never been particularly good for eating, which is ironic because in a last ditch effort to save the business, there were 18 different ghost kitchens operating out of the diner.

The new iteration of the diner will eventually be open 24 hours again, and there are plans for a rooftop deck, bar, and DJ.

The menu has a decidedly Tex-Mex inspiration, which should probably fair super well among the many mid and halfway decent Mexican-ish restaurants already in the area — not to mention the Birria-Landia taco truck parked on the opposite corner of Macri Triangle. A few diner classics remain.

Apparently they are expecting crowds since Resy claims reservations will open open up one month out. Okay, sure, how is 4am on October 9th? For now its 5 to 11 with breakfast planned, and 24/7 eventually.

However, reservations defeats the purpose of an all-night diner, especially one notorious for hosting sex with strangers in the bathrooms. I assume this latter bit will be frowned upon at least at first.

Anyway, its good to see this landmark will survive another iteration.
