The East Williamsburg restaurant scene keeps growing, this time seemingly with a new spot from the Renwick group.
The corner space at 169 Graham Avenue at the corner of Meserole Street has been under going a build out over the last several months.
Now a liquor license application has been posted linking the space back to Lulla, a Manhattan restaurant in the Renwick Hospitality Group with other titles like Lindens, Foxtail, and Altair.
The interior was an empty shell as recently as this summer. The newish 25-unit building was erected in 2019, but the corner, ground floor retail space has remained empty. The second floor had a medical facility for a time.
The interior gained a new bar and spaces for bathrooms. Potted plants can be seen too, but the space now has shades drawn on the windows.
The neighborhood has become a night life hot spot in recent years with Win Son and Win Son Bakery just a block away, along with numerous bars. One block of Graham Avenue at Meserole Street has also enjoyed open streets during weekends with Graham Bar and other restaurants and bars on the block sponsoring the recreational space.
