Greek-inspired restaurant Meraki Greek Bistro is coming to Grand Street in Williamsburg.

The Greek Bistro has locations in Coconut Grove and downtown Miami, and the broader hospitality group also has a gyro brand in south Florida.

The restaurant will feature a menu highlighting Mediterranean flavors.

The bistro’s liquor license is currently under review, but other locations in the Miami-based chain feature Greek wines and promise a wide selection of color on opening.

The restaurant draws an aesthetic inspiration from Greek Islands like Mykonos and Santorini. Although iconic today, the white wash on the Greek buildings became mandated in 1938 in an attempt to curb a cholera outbreak.
