Carnival-style zeppole are coming to Graham Avenue at a permanent location.

Dee Best Zeppole, a fixture at the annual Giglio Feast held in July, has been working toward opening a permanent storefront for years. A sign on the front claims the shop will be open around August 1 of this year.

Famous for deep fried Italian American favorites, Dee Best Zeppoles have been sold at the Giglio feast along with other fried concoctions like Oreos and Funnel cakes. The calzones are excellent.

The storefront at 361 Graham Ave has been under renovation for quite a while. The bright orange awning was installed and then construction stopped, delayed by the pandemic.

The interior of the shop is also bright orange, and still under construction.

Located in the heart of the traditional Italian American neighborhood, Dee Best will be a welcomed addition. It should be an exciting late summer treat.
