Founded in 2016, the restaurant chain intends to leverage plant-based foods as well as other green initiatives like compostable packing materials and waste reduction.

The chain has locations in Florida, Canada, and Chicago.

In addition to the Williamsburg location, another Planta is set to open in SoHo.
