A triangular corner lot along Broadway and Lorimer Street has long been awaiting development. It looks like the project is finally moving forward.

Back in January of 2021, NYYIMBY got ahold of the latest rendering for the building. Other iterations were less creative.

The plans call for 28 stories stacked alongside the elevated tracks of the JMZ with access to the train station literally in front of the building. The Broadway G train is located a block further away.

In preparation of the L Train shutdown that never quite happened, the MTA had created an out-of-system transfer between the Broadway G and the JMZ Lorimer station. That has since been discontinued.

Fencing has been installed and preliminary site work appears underwear for the reported $450m project.
