The 65-unit apartment building on Scholes Street has been under construction through the pandemic.

All of the units were slated to become affordable senior housing, and includes 9,000 square feet of community space. It was first proposed in 2018.

The property sits next to the Verizon switching station that spans the block from Meserole to Scholes Street. That building looks something like a bunker with thick walls, no windows, and hefty fortifications. Brownstoner has a full run down on that building constructed in 1975.
