Trader Joe’s is set to open December 10th according to the store’s website.

The store has been anticipated for months — years, even — with rumors persisting the big box grocer was coming to the neighborhood at various large developments.

The city’s first Trader Joe’s opened back in 2006 in Union Square and immediately was overwhelmed with customers.

Brooklyn’s first “TJs” opened in 2008 on Court Street.

The grocer is best known for its high-quality prepare foods, often sold frozen. This winter they have a number of viral items like truffle gnocchi, truffle oil, truffle Alfredo sauce, truffle burrata, and peppermint face masks.
