Miracle on Union is the holiday pop-up bar you didn’t know you wanted.
The Christmas-themed holiday pop-up cocktail bars launched a few years ago, inspired by the film Miracle on 34th Street. There are Miracle pop-up bars across the country now.
The pop-ups first launched in 2014 transforming an East Village bar into Miracle on 9th, an over-the-top kitschy destination with unique holiday cocktails. The franchise has been expanding ever since.
By 2018, there were more than 80 partner bars around the world with 3 in New York.
Miracle on Union runs through January 1. Thief is open from 3pm to 2am everyday.
The normal menu at Thief includes sandwiches, ice cream, and a full bar, with Miracle on Union adding special cocktails and extra nice fanciful glasses and drink mugs.
